It is not important that you have to submit your site to search engines, it happens automatically. It's obsoutely free, but you need to have good content on your site because you need approval from them to add your site. So before submitting make sure you have good content on your site and it is older then atleat 2 weeks . Just do that and start getting traffic and earning money from blog and adsense.
