How To Place Ads

People don’t visit your site for ads; they are there for some specific information. If you make your ads visible for them and they know it is the ad why would they click on it. They will make sure they don’t click on it. So first thing you need to remember make your ads part of your content so that they can interest the user. They should feel that it is relevant information and then only they will click on it. Remember one thing someone who visits your site is looking for some information. He have done all the hard work to search relevant information and by chance through some link he landed at your website so your hard work pays you one visitor so make sure that he licks in the ads. It is very easy for people to ignore ads at the bottom, corner or top. So avoid placing your ads at the top.

Prefer text ads instead of picture ads;
It is better to have text ads rather than picture ads. You can easily blend your text ads with your content. You change the color of the ads matching your content text color so that ads are in sync with your content. You can have more text ads giving user the choice to select one of them rather than just one banner.

It is very important for you to choose the type of ads and format as well. Selecting the size of the ads is very important. As per research you should use

336 x 280- the large rectangle.

This type of format can get you good clicks as it get merged with your document very easy

The next best is
300 x 250 - The Medium Recrangle.

This format is very useful as you can place two sets next to each other.

It is also recommended that you use the ‘wide skyscraper’, text only ads on the right hand side of the screen, this is because most of the PC user are right handed and it makes them very close to them. it is very natural for them to click on the ads.

It’s better if don’t use 468 x 60 ad block because it looks more like a banner and people love to ignore it. Everyone is familiar with it, they know it’s a ad and tell me why would someone click on the ad.

Do not apply border to your ads. It makes it attractive but it also ring special attention to the user and user are not fool when they find something attracting them they read that carefully and observing it is an ad they ignore it. Your ads should be normal, user should come across it while reading your content and not by looking at it, then only they will click on it. You can also match the color of your border with the background color of your web page.
So just few tweaks can make wonders for you.

Remember friends it is very difficult to get traffic, and once you get someone you should cash that user.
